Hello,
I have been looking for an on-page filter for dates and so I have stumbled upon the Timeline visual. I am currently trying to use this visual to cross-filter data which is displayed in another chart.
My problem is that while other visuals like Fragmentator or AttributeSlicer are able to cross-filter other visuals, the Timeline visual which uses the exact same data can't. It seems to only work well when it is on the "receiving" side of a cross-filter.
Maybe Timeline works just fine and I don't quite understand the structure of the data I am working with - but if other visuals work as I expect them to then this does not seem that likely.
Thanks for any help!
I forgot to mention - the data I use is pulled from SQL tables and the date format is DateTime2(7)
