Hi I don't know if anyone came across this kind of issue concerning time period filtering but I followed the tutorial https://www.sqlbi.com/articles/filtering-and-comparing-different-time-periods-with-power-bi/
And my time filtered isn't working when I choose dates that are not sharing any similar values ...
which isn't what i was expected as I want to be able to compare two different months . For example january / march ...
If you have any advice please let me know
Cheers

Hi @Anonymous ,
Per your request, you need to set different interactions for different slicers. And one point you should know first:The visualizations effect each other, which means the value used in a visualization comes from the same table or related tables.
Then,go to the menu bar, click on "format">"edit interactions">select one visulization, if it should cross-filter another visualization, select the filter icon(highlighted in red line).Or if it should have no impact, select the no impact icon(highlighted in yellow background) shown in the following screenshot.
Here is the reference.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Try creatin a Calendar Date Table in Power BI and use date from this table as a slicer after creating a relationship between your dataset and this Date table. Follow this simple guide to do this:

If this helps please give Kudos and mark it as a Solution! 🙂
