Time Intelligence with Direct Query on Data Explorer (Kusto)

Hello friends,

We try to create a simple measure that compares revenues from previous month.

Our data source is Kusto (Azure Data Explorer).

It seems that the simple CALCULATE(SUM(Amount),DATEADD(Calendar[Date],-1,MONTH)) is not working well

I am aware that working with Direct Queries is not always possible to do many DAX calculations, but this is very simple need - compare with previous period

Any ideas?

Thanks

Michael

Hey,

this article explains a lot of date related calculations: https://www.daxpatterns.com/time-patterns/

I assume that you will find a solution for your problem.

Re: Time Intelligence with Direct Query on Data Explorer (Kusto)

Thank you, Tom

But my question was about the context of Kusto (Azure Data Explorer)...

Which calculations are working with Direct Query?

Thanks

Michael
