Time Intelligence and R in Power BI

Hello to everyone, I'm new in PowerBI and I need to give an answer to my boss by the end of the day. Could you please help me?

Right know I have a Dashboard that needs 4 hours to run, it has 100+ measures and severl tables and calculated columns. So my questions are:

• Disabling Time intelligence in my current file will I decrease the time it takes to compute my KPIs?
• Also If I rewrite my KPIs in R (now they are written in DAX) will I decrease the computing time? By how much?
