The Responsive Slicers are nice - but

If you have more levels/categories it is very hard to see what is actually selected and - in cases where you change the top-land and will get an empty result because you have a selection at a lower leve.

A solution could be to put selected items first - in that case it would be very clear that you have a selection and that it is causing the empty result.

A more comprehensive approach would be to build a tree-view-control that works - or have the exisiting Custom Visual tree-view-control (HierarchySlicer) certified

You could post your idea in Power BI idea Forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
