The MAP isn't loading

Hi,

When I use the MAP on a Power BI Desktop installed on my company's server, the MAP remains blank (white screen) and doesn't load, while the same report is working well on my laptop. The server is connected to Internet.

I think that there are missing autorizations on the proxy. Does someone know which websites are used by the MAP to be loaded?

Many thanks,

Maha

Hi Maha,

Based on your description, I want to conform something about your report:

  1. Did you use the map visual? If it isn’t the map visual, can you provide some detail about this visual?
  2. Did you create the pbix report file on your laptop and send it to the server?
  3. Which type of datasource you used, can you share some detail?
  4. If you create a new map visual on the server pc, then input a local source to it, does it work?
  5. Can you tell me the power bi desktop’s version of your laptop and the server? You could try to use the newest version to test.

The map visual works on my side, could you share us a pbix file to test?

Version:

Result:

Capture6.PNG

Power BI integrates with Bing to provide default map coordinates (a process called geo-coding)
