The Amount of Uncompressed Data on the gateway client has exceeded 10 GB is a issue that we have just started to hit, currently it does not make financial sense for us to migrate to premium (we are planning to in the future, we are currently only just starting to use Power Bi Pro). As the complaint is specifically mentioning the gateway, if the DB in question was stored in Azure and not on prem the gateway would then not need to be used (unless I am missunderstanding) would this problem still arise?

Hi @WhiteSox77 ,

That is related to the connection type. Here, I suggest to use direct query instead of import to work around.
