Text file as parameter (ODATA BAse Url)

Hi, everybody

I hope someone can help me with this issue.

I import data to Power BI Desktop using ODATA feed source. This source is composed of two parts: URL Base + Table name.

I have created many reports that use same URL Base but different Table names.

The goal is using a text file for URL Base ODATA. This text file should be loaded into Power BI Desktop as parameter and using the parameter to composed ODATA Feed URL.  So, I can avoid to declare same parameter in every report.

Is there any way to do that?.

Thanks in advance,

@Angel

You can create dataset with all table names included. Then you can create a query parameter with this dataset.

To use query parameter, please refer to links below:

Hi, @v-sihou-msft

Thania for the answer. I didn't know 'add as new query' option.

However, this is not the problem.

I have created many reports. The odata connection is done by two parts. Odata base URL + Table mame.

Report 1: odata base URL + Table 1
Report 2: odata base URL + Table 2
And so On

I want ti write the odata base URL in only one placer that should be used for every report.

Is there any way??

Thanks
