Tabular - direct query and DAX functions

Hello,

I'm creating reports by connecting to DWH in direcy query mode: select tables from DWH, create relations between the tables and so on...

I've noticed I cannot use DAX function "DateDiff" in new column.

Why is that?

Some DAX functions are not compatible with DirectQuery. See this article:
