Hi,
I am trying to create a table as refernce for my other table to check when an employee last changed his status, but i noticed i kept on getting duplicate entries if an employee changed his status to something else. Is there a way for me to retain the latest status instead? so i can do a lookupvalue on my other table?
Thank you

@Lobs - Probably using MAX or MAXX or perhaps using Group By in Power Query but not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
@Lobs , check power query options

In dax you can use summarize with max on few columns

Thank you, Max worked, i didnt expect it to work with non numerical items. Apologies as well for not laying out the issue completely 🙂
