How could I create something like this in Power BI.  Where I have Columns that show Age Ranges and rows under each range?

Add a calculated column based on the age column,

Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension!

DAX is simple, but NOT EASY!

Is a Matrix Table the best way to go and and make age ranges columns?

Hi, @bdehning

Yes, for now, a matrix table is the best way to go.

You need to create a calculated column first like @CNENFRNL  does.
