Hi,
I am currently creating a KPI page for 8 different teams, and each team has 4 statisitcs they are measured against.
Due to the data, 2 of the statistics run off one date slicer and the other 2 run off the other data slicer. I would like to use one big slicer instead of 2 (I have attached a photo of the 2 slicers). As when the board is used, the date slicers will always use the same dates so will always match.
However due to links in my relationships, when I try to connect 2 date slicers to a master one the error I get is that an ambiguity is introduced. I understand why this is I am just wondering if there is currently a way or if there could be a new feature which is a Master date slicers which just changes the date slicers on the page and nothing else. This would be extremely useful for data sets with a large amount of data and relationships.
I have uploaded a photo of the 2 date slicers on the same page. And have uploaded an attempt at trying to bypass the relationships ambiguity with one way filter connectors.
Thanks
hi, @Anonymous
You don't need to use so many dim date table. Usually, it needs only one dim date table in one data model,
please refer to this blog:

Hi Lin,
Because I have 2 non-date tables connected to each other, using the same date table creates an ambiguity. Therefore I think I need 2. If I could try and use one that would also create a lot of work changing all my relationships as I have about 36 tables.
Is there one no way to purely sync 2 date slicers?
Thanks
hi, @Anonymous
For "Is there one no way to purely sync 2 date slicers? ",
According to knowledge, If you want to sync the two slicer, you need to use the same filed in same table.

Lin
