I have two synced slicers, a Vertical one which is a hierarchy slicer lisigt Holding+Company names; and in the other side a Horizontal one which lists Company names.
I want:
a. Horizontal Slicer show child company names when a holding name (or set of it's child companies) is selected in vertical slicer
b. Reflect selected companies in horizontal slicer in the vertical slicer
scenario (a) is straightforward with syncing the slicers, but for (b) the problem is that selecing any company name in horizontal slicer filters the holding/companies list rather than just reflecting the selected item.
I want horizontal slicer only reflect the selected items to vertical slicer, not filtering the holding/companies list.
Hi, @behnam_abt
Based on my test, I think it is a normal phenomenon. I create data to reproduce your scenario.

Because the hierarchy slicer has a hierarchical structure, it will reflect the all corresponding level when it is filtered by a synced slicer.
When you select one or more children for an item, you see a semi-selected circle for the top-level item.
For further information, you may refer to hierarchy slicer .

Are the Holding and Company fields in the same table or different tables? if different, is the search filter bidirectional?
