Suppressing measure total in table

Hi,

I have a measure as follows.

EN Code(s) new = calculate(CONCATENATEX(values(WAGES[EN Code]),WAGES[EN Code],","))

I created it as a measure so that it would be updated by my slicer filters as the user filters the data. When it was a Custom Column, it stayed static no matter the slicer filters.

I have a resulting issue now which is that the measure is creating a Total in my totals section, which is sometimes an extremely long string that pushes the total section to take over the whole table. I have been searching for a way to suppress the total for that column only but have not found a solution.

Can anyone assist?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Suppressing measure total in table

Thanks @hymieho2, I got it to work using that article. Using ISFILTERED wasn't working for my particular circumstance.

EN Code(s) new = IF(HASONEVALUE(REVENUE_BY_ROUTE_F[Route ID]),
                                  calculate(CONCATENATEX(values(WAGES_BY_ROUTE_F[EN Code Full]),WAGES_BY_ROUTE_F[EN Code Full],",")),
                                  BLANK()
                                  )

Re: Suppressing measure total in table

Hi @heatherl

You could

1. Edit the visual so that it doesn't show Totals/Subtotals (see pic below)

2. Update the measure code so that it returns a blank when at the total row.  Yopu can detect that using ISFILTERED( )
