Summarising the data in a table from results from another table

Hi

My dax is wrong I think how can I improv this stagement please?

Table = summarize(table1, table[column1],"total",[rows])

where rows = countrows(table2)

it works ok but when I use a slicer on table 1 my summarise table doesnt seem to filter. I do have relationship between table1 and table2 by id.

Is there something missing from summarize function?

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

Do you create relationship between summarized table and table1? If not, when you use slicer on table1, the summarized table will not be filtered. Also please help to post sample data of table1 and table2 for us to analyze.

Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
