Summarise data as a pivot table or normal table

Hi Experts

 

how would you summarise the following data into a simple cross tavb table with summed values for each region.

So i have

Apple         100

Apple         200

Apple         300

Oranges     50

Oranges     150

 

i want to show the final table as follows

Aples       600

Oranges   200

 

thats it for each column in the main tables
