Hi all,
Came across a very effective visialisation (see below) that suits our current need
I believe I have got most of the measures ready but need some guidance on how to mimic the visualisation part
As a new PBI user google the right key word struggles me the most
So if anyone can provide few key things/technics to consider in order to construct this table that would be wonderful
Regards,
Wendy

This is a matrix visualization. There apear to be a couple of fields added to the "Rows", and the numeric fields are added to "Values".
I think this is quite a complicated example. It's hard to say from just that pic, but I can do my best at guessing how it's made:
The Cost Variance is done with conditional formatting - Data Bars. This is found in the formattiong pane of the matrix.
The traffic lights, it is hard to say what they represent. These appear to be in a matrix row of "Project", with "cost type" underneath it. The project would be a custom column, something like this:
Project = SWITCH( ( 'Table'[Column1])
, 1,
"data:image/svg+xml;utf8," &
"<svg xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg' viewBox='0 0 100 100'>
<circle cx='20' cy='20' r='15' fill='red' />
</svg>"
, 2,
"data:image/svg+xml;utf8," &
"<svg xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg' viewBox='0 0 100 100'>
<circle cx='20' cy='20' r='15' fill='green' />
</svg>")
I am assuming they represen the proejct health, which is stored in a column somewhere. You would need to change the SWITCH logic (see here). this comes from this blog:
https://hatfullofdata.blog/svg-in-power-bi-part-2/
The rows are arranged something like this:
You can drill down and expand all
You can change the formats in the format pane to make it like how you want, I suggest playing arround. In this example, column headers have been changed to green.
Appreciate your Kudos

Hi @WLou ,
For the making of this picture, where have you completed and what technical problems have you encountered?
The red and green signal lights in the picture may come from an icon column, like this:
And the visual the table has used may come from a custom visual. You can try to find it in the MarketPlace.
Best regards,
Lionel Chen
