I'm new to Power BI and I'm trying to create a Matrix Report that we currently have in Excel. I'm a little confused on how subtotals work in Power BI compared to Excel.
I have used the following settings in Power BI:
Which results i this:
What I'm missing - compared to Excel - is a subtotal of each division (the first column). Moreoever, a subtotal for each department within each company.
Is this the expected behavior of subtotals in Power BI - or do I just have to change some settings to achieve what I described above?

Hi @nielfxrm,
I have made a sample similar to yours. Do you want to get the second matrix like below?
If it is, you could turn off the stepped layout under formatting.
If you still need help, please share some data sample and your desired output so that we could help further on it.
Best Regards,
Cherry
