Sub Query in Power BI

Is there a way to write a sub query in Power BI

 

Example: Select COL1 from Table 1

Where Table1.COL2 =

(Select COL3 from Table2)

You could try this calculated table

 

New Calculated Table = 
    SELECTCOLUMNS(
        GENERATE(
            'Table 1',
            FILTER(
                'Table2',
                'Table 1'[COL2] = 'Table2'[COL3])
                ) ,
                "COL1" , [COL1]
    )

Hi, I have Cosmos SQL that I want to apply. Cosmos doesn't support inner query. 

 

I need to get first max of the record and then insert retireved value into another query. How can I do this in PowerBI ? I'm trying to execute SQL like below

 

select * from Employee where EmployeeId = ( select max(employeeid) from Employee)
