Storage Mode Mixed

I have created a data set with mulitple direct query tables.  I noticed the other day that the desktop version notes in the bottom right corner "Storage Mode: Mixed".  I went through all of the tables and found that four of them are noted as "Import" in the field properties.  I then double checked the queries in the Power Query Editor and they are all set as Direct Query.

Anyone else have this happen?

hi, @Mattr_TEM

This is a normal case, Power bi now supports composite models.

You could get data by Import and DirectQuery together.

When you did this, you will see "Storage Mode: Mixed" in the bottom right corner of power bi desktop.

You could change it to single mode by click here
