HI,
I have a requirement, i have date slicer i have created the date dimension
Start Date = CALENDAR (DATE ( 1900,1, 1), DATE (2025,12, 31))
now i have kept the slicer for this it shows like this 1/1/1900 - 12/31/2025
but the end user want to see the start date with default todays date i.e. 01/02/2019
and end date should show as 02/02/2019 insteaad of 12/31/2025.

Add a report or page level filter on date. Use Relative Date filtering for the filter; set to "is in the next" 30 "days" or 1 "month". The date slicer on the report page will then show the next 30 days by default. The report or page filter can be cleared by the end user when they wish to see data for all dates.
Hi @Anonymous,
AFAIK, current power bi still not support to setup default value on slicer.(dynamic default value also not support)
Maybe you can submit or vote similar requirement to idea forum.

Well, once you publish this to the Service, the Service will remember each users' preferences. Or, does this need to work in Desktop?
