Hi Guys,
I wants to split a column value
Kindly refrer the below table example.
please let me know the best measure or approach to have the desired value.
I want the total number of Active cases to showcase in my chart.
How to segregate all the status values of the particular column "Status Name".
S.NO | Company ID | Status Name | Date Started | Deal Name |
1 | 123 | Active | 1-1-2020 | XYZ |
2 | 321 | Terminated | 2-2-2020 | ABC |
3 | 456 | Past | 3-3-2020 | abc |
I have 2000 rows with different status name.
Desired Output:
Total Active Deals: 245
Total Past Deals : 50 etc.
Regards,
Himanshu

@Anonymous , Try measures like
calculate(count(Table[S.No]), filter(Table, Table[Status] ="Active"))
calculate(count(Table[S.No]), filter(Table, Table[Status] ="Past"))
@Anonymous Can you just put that column in a table visual, legend, pretty much anything and just do a default count? If you need it to be only Active, put it in your Filters pane and choose Active. Default aggregation. Best to avoid DAX calculations if possible.
@Anonymous , Try measures like
calculate(count(Table[S.No]), filter(Table, Table[Status] ="Active"))
calculate(count(Table[S.No]), filter(Table, Table[Status] ="Past"))
