Split hotel sales on date range and combine with date slicer

Hi Everyone, it's my first post here.

I'm seeking some advice to create my first report. I need to create a report for a Hotel, with revenues, rooms, guests, and so on.

My data source will be something like this

Screenshot 2021-03-01 at 16.08.02.png

What I need is to be able to visualize for each day, how many rooms, guest, the revenue,...

As you can see above I have the check-in and check-out date for each booking. How I can get the info split for each day in between? And after that, I can add a date slicer to be able to dynamically select the desired period to visualize?

I attach here my test file.

I hope someone can help me

@amitchandakthank you very much. Your post helped me a lot. I did some progress with my test.

But now I have some additional questions 😞

  1. Why the totals are missing?
  2. I would like to remove the "Date" column from my table. But If I do that I don't get any result anymore on the table. I would like to keep only the "Month Year" column, or remove both and do a breakdown by other data I have like the "market.description". But continue to be able to filter data by "Date".

Here my test file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xqeydsadjgmvg84/test.pbix?dl=0

PS: Why I can't upload the pbix file directly?

Thank you again for your help
