Sorry, I may be misunderstanding what you have done, but...
The date table should be sorted by the date column.
To sort the Month Name column, you need to select it and then use the "Sort column by..." and choose the month number as the sorting column.
They are two seperate "sorting" operations

If you have a measure, you can create a new measure using SWITCH to create the order measure and use that as as the sorting criteria

I take it you are using a Date Table, correct? If so, you need to sort the month name column by a month number column- if there isn't one, you need to create it- (select the date table in table view, select the month name column and use the "Sort column by" in the ribbon to select month number.

Thank you for quick response.
Yes I have already done everything whatever you have mentioend. But still sorting is not working for MATRIX Table.
I have Month Number column in Date Table so sorted Date Table based on Month Number.

Hi Paul,
I have same requirement. But the column from where I am getting date is a Measure and this measure is of text type.
Used dax to extract year , month, quarter etc.
The months are getting displayed in alphabetical order but I want it in calendar months.

Hi,
Got it now Actually I misunderstood and focusing on one sorting only.
Now, I get it there can be two sorting possible for each column.
Thanks a lot for feedback.
Thanks
