Sorting by Date (M/D/YYYY)

Hi

I want to sort the services by date (M/D/YYYY). I have a separate date table & a date column in my core excel data file.

But I can not sort them by date. Sending you the screen sort of the files.

Let me know if you need more explanation.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

Based on my test, it could work on my side.

Sample data and relationship

1.PNG

Create a visual and modify the format in X-Axis from continous to categorical and you can see the result.

I would suggest you test again. Also you can test with our sample report on your side to see if the same issue occurs.

Select your day column and see if the colum type is date. If not, change it to date, the issue should be fixed.

Hi @Anonymous,

Why don't you use the Date column on your Dates tables on your chart instead of this column? It should give you the order you need.
