Sort x-axis by date (MM/YYYY) for three years

Hi,

I am having issues with sorting my data in ascending order from 01/2015 to 09/2017. I have tried to use the "sort by column" feature but it does not work. Please see below. My ideal date format is MM/YYYY, but currently the dataset I have is as shown in the screenshot below. Thanks for your help!

Add a new column with year and monthnumber (YYYYMM) to your table and use that for sorting

You mean like this: DateInspectedTXT = year([DateInspected])&month([DateInspected]) ?
