I'm looking to sort by the first column based upon number value and then sort from there based upon an alphabetical order in the second column.
For example, my first column is the year and I wish to sort by year first. I then want my second column to have grouped values based upon alphabetical order. So a name starting with A - "Application" will all be grouped for 2018, then again for 2019.
Is this possible?

Hi @andrewfayj,
What visual do you want to use?
As I know, the default sorting order in Power BI could meet your requirements.
If you still need help, please share some data sample and your desired output, so that we can help further investigate on it?
Best Regards,
Cherry
