I sorted my MonthName column by the months numbers, but it keeps sorting it the wrong way in visuals.
First January, then Oct, Nov, Dec, Feb, Mar, etc. Is this a common problem?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Make sure your month number column is numeric and not text. Your sort order suggests that it is text.
1) Select the Month Name column in your Calendar
2) click Sort by Column
3) select Month Number => and as @Greg_Deckler said make sure this is a number!!!
To quickly tell just look => if all numbers in the column are right-justified => then they are numbers!
I think there is a bug/feature in the latest version. If I pull out my "Total Sales" first, it sorts by total sales. If I pull out "MonthName" first, it stays sorted by "MonthNo" after I then pull out "TotalSales".
1) Select the Month Name column in your Calendar
2) click Sort by Column
3) select Month Number => and as @Greg_Deckler said make sure this is a number!!!
