Sort Chart With Different Axis Once Drilled Down

I am looking to sort a drilled column chart. On the first hierarchy I want to sort the categories by the count of wells drilled by a certain operator. Then once drilling down to the operator I want to see the count of wells by that operator in a chronological order. However, once I drill down they are still being sorted by the count. Is there a way I can seperate the two and give them unique sorting criteria?

Thank you in advance!1st hierarchy1st hierarchy2nd hierarchy2nd hierarchy

Consider making this 2 different visuals.  One count of wells by operator (like you already have) and the 2nd visual is total well drilled by Month.  With nobody selected, it will show all wells drilled for everyone.  When you select the operator bar from the graph, make sure the 'Filter' Interaction is set instead of 'Highlight' and it will zoom to only the operator selected.  See more info here:

No, it's not supported. When you specify a sorting criteria in a chart, it will be kept for all drill down levels.
