Hi,
I made a dashboard on PBI Desktop, publish it in my workspace, shared it with colleagues. I then made a few changes on PBI desktop, clicked on "Publish". It asked me if I wanted to replace the file with the same name, I said 'Yes'. It said "Success!", but when I clicked on the link "Open 'file.pbix' in Power BI", I get that message : "Power BI Sorry, we couldn't find that report. It may have been deleted or you may not have access to view it." When I click on the report, indeed it is not updated.
Any idea on what I am doing wrong?
Best,
Ana

hi, @Anonymous
After my test, It due to the Power BI desktop account is different from Power Service account.
For example:
My power bi service is v-lili6 and my power desktop is User2 Pro
then update the dashboard and republish.
when I clicked on the link "Open 'file.pbix' in Power BI",
Because the power service account is "v-lili6" and it has published to "User2 pro",
Due to the browser cache, when you open the link, the account is not the same with power bi desktop.
Please check if the desktop account is the same with service.
For example:
I have kept desktop and service is the same account. then republish dashboard and click on the link "Open 'file.pbix' in Power BI"
again, it works well.
Best Regards,
Lin

Dear Lin,
Yes! Indeed, I had two different accounts, both linked to my company, but with two lightly different email adresses! It works perfectly now!! Thanks a lot : )
