Sonarcloud API

Afternoon all,

I was wondering (Actually hoping!) that someone may know how to feed in SolarCloud API data in to PBI Desktop.

I have searched the wide web, but cant seem to find a way of doing this. Alos im unsure if I need to use my own credentials or an API key

A list of API's can be found below.

https://sonarcloud.io/web_api

Many thanks

Hi @Anonymous ,

Power Query allows you to retrieve data from web services and load it into Excel.

Please refer to the following steps to see if it helps you.

https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2014/03/26/working-with-web-services-in-power-query/

  • handling authentication using the APIToken query parameter
  • using Web.Contents() to do this, by passing the API token through an HTTP header

I have found a similar topic, please refer to it to see if it helps you,

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Power-Query/Pull-data-from-a-REST-API-Authentication/td-p/246006

  • use Anonymous authentication, as you already provide the authorization key.

Best Regards
