Snowflake Database Parameter Ignored

Has anyone noticed when explicitly specifiying a Snowflake database, it is ignored?  It appears my default database is always used.

I just reviewed the documentation again, and this requirement is called out:

"SQL Statement ... In this version of native database query functionality, you need to use fully qualified table names in the format Database.Schema.Table, for example SELECT * FROM DEMO_DB.PUBLIC.DEMO_TABLE."
