Slicers

Hi everybody !

 

I have two little questions about slicers.

 

Firstly, I would like to know if its possible to do not have the case (Empty) on my horizontal slicer. (circle on the left)

 

Secondly, I don't want to make a sum when nothing is select on my slicers, I just want to see empty or nothing, is it possible ? (circle on the right)

When looking at the slicer and based on my experienced this appears because of the model, one way to filter out that is to add a the column you are using as slicer in the report level filter or page level filter and take out the blanks values.

Regarding the second part you need to create a measure to calculate the number when all is selected.

 

Measure =
IF (
    DISTINCTCOUNT ( Slicer_Table[Slicer column] ) = 1;
    SUM ( Table[Column] );
    ""
)

This will give the result below:
