Slicer value sets end date on x-axis of trend chart

Hi everyone,

This seems like a simple ask, but I can't find the solution.

I have a calendar table with dates, and I have created a new column for the week starting date.

I am using week starting column for the x-axis of a trend chart.

I am also using week starting date as a slicer for other metrics on my report.

I would like the week selected in the slicer to be the end week of the x-axis in my trend chart. So for example, if I select May 10, my trend chart would only show weeks up until May 10, like the below image:

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous

you might consider creating pbix file that will contain some sample data (remove the confidential info), upload the pbix to onedrive for business and share the link to the file. Please do not forget to describe the expected results based on this sample data.

@Anonymous - Should be, but not enough information to say for certain. Please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
