Hi, I have a situation where my slicer is working, but it's not applying to the value. The data relationships look like this:
So the date table is the connector between the intranet data and the other data table. When I select the date from intranet on the slicer, it's not applying correctly to the table. The table on the left which shows $75.2M should instead show $33.35M, the value you can see in the tooltip. I thought it had something to do with the data relationships, but as you can see above, i've created the proper relationship with it.

ok, i've figured something out. the value which is populating is limiting the period of the calculation to *only* the date which is selected instead of the previous 12 months of it. so i somehow need to get the calculation to take the input of the slicer to be the start date of the calculation. or something like this.

Hi @crobaseball ,
I think the issue is with relationship between Date table and right side table. It should be one to many not many to one. Also, you should use Date (from Date table) in slicer.

Completely agree on the relationship and i have changed it.
But I can't use the date table as my slicer. It has every date, and the "Project End Date" field in the "Intranet_Data" table has a much smaller list which the user actually picks from. Don't the relationships from the one table cascade to the other through the date table?
