Slicer not allowing Date Range

Hello,

I have an older Report where I used a slicer with date to allow me to filter a page based on Date Range

I am creating a new report where I am trying to do the same thing, yet I keep getting a very different result.

I am not looking for the slider feature.

I am trying to figure out how I got to the first version, but can't seem to find the right switch.

I have even tried copying the visual to the new report, and creating from scratch in the same report, but neither has worked.

What am I missing?

It is also intersting that the options are very different in each one...

Unfortuantely I am not seeing that option, although I do remember it from before.

I am on Desktop 2.86.361.0 64-bit (October 2020), and I didn't see it with the on-line version either.

Where are you getting that option?
What version of PBI are you using?

I don't see that option when looking at the visual, as that is what it looks like to me with your image.

The only way to get the dropdown in the filters panel is to have a date checked, yet no dropdown available

I am still on Version: 2.85.985.0 64-bit (September 2020).

Don't click the ellipsis, click the down arrow/triangle.
