Slicer issue - Have you ever seen that???

Hello community

I have a problem with native slicer.

I have a table with 1700+ rows. In that table I have a column with 2 distinct values.

When I put that column in a slicer shows me 3 values (with blank). Wrong.

When I put that column in a table shows me 2 values (without blank) Correct.

See pic below.

This is a strange behavior.

Has anyone encountered this problem or is it an issue?

Hi @sokg,

Is this column related with another table? Ussualy this happens when you have related tables and not all of the fields have a match on one of the tables so you will have blanks as a slicer since the values are not available, since the slicer context is getting information for the related tables to be filtered. When placed on a table the context is specific for that table so no blanks.

This is exactly what is happening. I find it out the hard way. Thanks for you help.

You slicer need to be made by the table that has the unique values assuming that the specific table has all the data you need.
