Slicer does not filter visuals unless you put it into a table with the measure

I am building a report related to HR. I have a column called job title and a measure for average age. I have visualized average age according to gender, location etc.

The issue i am facing is, when i filter the report page from job title all visuals goes blank. even the average age card shows blank. but when i put job title and average age into same table and select a row from that table, then page get filtered without any issues.

Please help me. Thank you.

I was able to slove this issue. The job title column is not a unique column it has duplicate values. So when I put the measure with Job title in to the same table it aggregates the duplicate values into one row. But when i use a slicer it shows all the duplicate values and only select the the one of the duplicate values which does not include the other duplicate values. Most of the time values will be blank because for selected one values does not contain data.

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for the reply. This is what i can give you right now.

Top left you can find the job title filter and top right is the table containing average age with job title.

If you click on any value in filter you get output like below.

But if you select the same value from the table. output will be like below.

Also please note that all the data are comming from SSAS cube wich is a live connection. And the average age is also a calculated member created inside the cube.

Thank you.
