Slicer - Want to Filter on Original Selection Multi-Select List of 8 - not the 800 results.

New to Power BI, sorry for rookie question. Attaching Power BI to SharePoint list. One field is a Multi-Select Field. It gives the user the ability to select 1 or all 8 options. I simply want to display these 8 as a Choice for the user to filter on. When I add the field to the Slicer it displays LIST. I figured out how to set it to display data, but it is showing the 800 results. I only need the original 8. Do I somehow create a new list?

@TxSteve
I think this is a combination of Desktop and Power Query question to achieve what you want.

Can you please explain what you have done so far to get it to display data instead of List, and also click on Transform Data > Home> Advanced Editor and copy and paste here the code you see in that box for this SharePoint list table.

My first instinct is to tell you to Split Column into rows, but I'm not sure what your data looks like or what you mean by LIST so if you can provide a bit more info and screenshots, then we can be more helpful with solutions for you.

Thanks!
