Filter a slicer with the help of Button

Hi Guys,

I have scenario where i need to filter Slicer value coming from a Dimention table when click on button.

Scenario:

I have two buttons (Month/Week) which will be used to show and hide two bookmarks depending on which is selected, In this report I have a Slicer which is intact with Dimension. In my model i have DimensionDate table with column Isweek/Ismonth too, i want to filter slicer value whenver change happen against a selected range, I mean to show only those values into slicer which falls into that selected range.

I don't have a directed relation in between two but both tables are linked with Fact table.

Please provide a reasonalble solution.

Thanks,

Naim

Hi @Mohd_Naim ,

According to your descrption, you want to show slicer value based on your button selected.(click month button, the silcer value should falls into month range). If anything is misunderstood, please tell me.

I suggest create visual level filter for slicer in each bookmark. In month bookmark, set  the visual level filter Ismonth is 1. In week bookmark, set  the visual level filter Isweek is 1.
