Slice with Legend?

Hi there,

Is it possible to have a slicer with legend?

A page is created with mutli visuals, all of them have same legend color.

To provide varies way and multi-level for "filter" the data, I want to use slicer and allow user to click on each visual legend.

Is it possible to have the slicer with legend as well?

Hi, @h_l

I'm afraid there is no slicer that fully meets your requirement, but you can try to use chiclet slicer. You can download different colors of dots as a picture then use it.

If it doesn’t solve your problem, please feel free to ask me.

In fact, there are over 15 legends and some of them has smaller amount, so, they are not easy to identify and select in visuals like column chart, ribbon chart when display with legends with big amount togeter. - user need to scroll the legend area to see the color & category as in column chart, they are too small to seen and mouse hover, select.

There are more than 1 visuals in the project, as they include same type and amount of data from same resource, lucky, all legends colors are exact same in every visuals.

As a result, for user friendly, I create a Pie chart, so that each legend's color is clear and easy for user to identify and select, after selecting, all the rests visuals result will be highlighted / filterd.

That's why the idea come up to my mind, that's say, if the slicer supports display legened, will be great for easy identify, especially as the case of mine, there are over 15 legends...

But thanks for reply and good to know there is a slicer like that.

Have a good day.
