Hello all, I'm running into a reoccuring issue with using Power BI bookmarks to clear all filters.
Often times the dashboards I create have multiple bookmarks (pages), usually 3 or 4 in this specific example. So what I did was create a single clear filter button that does not reset visuals:
The problem I am running into is that when I attempt to use this clear filter bookmark on 1 of my other pages, the visuals are changed. Like a date slicer slider becomes a check box slicer. I then revert the changes and update the bookmark for that bookmark, and it works, but it then stops working for another bookmark.
The only workaround I've found is to have 1 clear button for every single bookmark (EX: Clear suggestions, Clear Features, etc.). This is a bit annoying to do, but it works.
So I'm wondering if I am missing something, or if the only way around this is to make a clear bookmark for each bookmark. Thanks for the help!
@Anonymous - Bookmarks capture the current state of a particular page. The only things that a bookmark can affect on other pages are report-level filters.
Users can reload the web page to clear all changes they've made.
