Hi all,
Is there any way to enfore single select on filters in the filter pane? I can see the "Requires single selection" but can overwrite this by:
- CTRL + clicking several options
- Deselecting the selected option (causing a Select all)
- Erasing the filter (causing a Select all)
Is there anything I can do about this? Ideally similar to the options provided by the Slicer visual?
My users are breaking reports by erasing filters that need to only have one option selected.
Thanks
Ben

No, not at this time. You could create a DAX measure to check for it though. It would depend on how many other filter contexts existed in the report, but if the page is fairly simple, this would work.
OneOrNoFilters = IF ( HASONEFILTER ( 'Open AP Transactions'[Account] ) || NOT ( ISFILTERED ( 'Open AP Transactions'[Account] ) ), "", "TOO MANY FILTERS" )
It will display (in a card perhaps) "TOO MANY FILTERS" if 2+ filters are chosen, but will be blank if there are no filters or just one filter.
DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
