Simple question hopefully.. is one date field is blank, use another

DoneDate =
IF (
    'WorkItems Completed'[Custom_DateDeployed].[Date] = BLANK (),
   'WorkItems Completed'[Custom_TargetDeploymentDate].[Date] )

This is not working... any ideas?

Try it like this.

DoneDate =
IF (
    ISBLANK ( 'WorkItems Completed'[Custom_DateDeployed] ),
    'WorkItems Completed'[Custom_TargetDeploymentDate],
    'WorkItems Completed'[Custom_DateDeployed]
)
