Hello,
I'm new to Power BI and i'm trying to migrate some excel reporting into this space moving forward. I have a chart that I regularly publish in Excel that has the following elements:
- Item Volume
- Item % In-Stock (defined in the table as a 1/0 count)
- Item % Stock-Out (defined in the table as a 1/0 count)
In excel I "show values as % of Row total" and this makes the graphing easy for me. Is there a way do to the same thing in a Power BI visual? I have used ToolTips and Changed the values, but am only able to show as a % of the grand total. I need to show as a grand-total of the X-Axis values (plant number).
Please help!
Hi Kvonck,
I use the 1/0 approach for a lot of things as well. Select the column in the fields menu (Far right), then select "Modeling" from the menu at the top. Change the format to percentage. I assume you are already averaging the 1/0 count, but if not I can show you a screen shot for that as well.
Hope this is what you are looking for.
Best,
Jim
