Hi @BPTBPTBPT ,

Please have a try. Only create a measure.

Measure = IF(ISINSCOPE('Table'[Column1]),MAX('Table'[Column1]),COUNTROWS('Table'))

If I have misunderstood your meaning, please provide some sample data and desired output.

Hi,

I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but I tried to create a sample pbix file like below.

Please check the below picture and the attached pbix file.

I hope this can provide some hints or ideas on how to create a correct solution for your data model.

Expected outcome measure: =
IF ( HASONEVALUE ( Data[Index] ), SUM ( Data[Value] ), COUNTROWS ( Data ) )

Thank you for your fast and extended reply.

Unfortunately I can't open de pbix because (apparently) I have an older version of Power BI (and cannot update right now).

Your solution looks good, I was hoping it could be done without an extra column, though.

In fact I have several columns of which I would like to view the sum, then each needs to get its own index column. Is that possible? Or can I have just one index column?

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

I am not sure but I think one index column may be OK (Or, if you already have something like a date column, it might be OK too). But still, it is hard to tell without seeing your data model. You can try with your data model, and I hope you can find the best way for your data model.

Thanks.
