Show selected month in card next to graph

Hi!

I have a dashboard with a graph of all months and I want the cards next to it showing the selected month.

How do I do that?

I use this time slicer:

So in this example I want to see the graph from jan 2016 to sept 2017 and the card showing the value in sept 2017.

Even more challenging, my table has 3 time perspectives: month, quarter and year.

When I select perspective quarter, I select a quarter (e.g 2017 Q1) and when I select month, I select a month (eg. 201703).

BTW. my table is actually not aggregated as above, it has a usernumber included.

Well, for the first case, you should be able to use a measure that utilizes the MAX function. Not sure I understand your second use case.

@Anonymous,

In addition, you may take a look at SELECTEDVALUE Function.
