Show percentage or Value depending on slicer

Hi,

I have the below data set:

DescriptionFiscal YearEntityValue
Revenue FY16            99
Gross margin FY16 37%
EBITDA FY16          (76)
EBITDA margin FY16 (77%)

I am doing a column chart with "Fiscal Year" on the x-axis, "Entity" on the legend and "Value" on the value. I have a slicer for Description. What I am trying to achieve is that I want the data Labels to show percentages when I set the slicer to Gross Margin or EBITDA margin, and to show values(not percentages) when I set the slicer to Revenue or EBITDA.

Is that possible to do in powerBI.

Appreciate your help !

Re: Show percentage or Value depending on slicer

This should be possible using FORMAT command, I've done some similar things in the past.

Re: Show percentage or Value depending on slicer

@luaimatari ,

You just need to add an appropriate measure based on slicer.
