I have a simple table I use. In this table I have 2 fields with amounts. one in local Currency and one in $. I'd like to use now a parameter with which the user can select in which currency the charts are shown.
How can this be done?
Regards,
Oliver
Hello @obaur,
you can achieve this by adding an extra table to your model (not connected to any other table) where you would have two rows (Show Amount in USD, Show Amount in Local)
afterwards you would add a slicer linked to this table where the user can select either Show Amount in USD or Show Amount in Local
then you would adjust your measure to take into consideration the selection of the user
=
IF(SELECTEDVALUE(YourNewTable[YourNewColumn]) = "Show Amount in USD", [Your USD measure], [Your Local Measure] ))
