Hi,
I want to show the hot spots of injury locations on a body schematic. An example of a work is shown here.
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/pt-pt/partner-showcase/bistech-safety-risk-and-compliance/
Basically, I want the body parts to be shown darker in color depending on the percentage of the total injuries. More injuries, darker in color.
An example of data is very simple and looks like this:
ID | Injury Location |
INJ-1 | Face |
INJ-2 | Hand |
INJ-3 | Upper leg |
INJ-4 | Hand |
INJ-5 | Hand |
INJ-6 | Feet |
INJ-7 | Feet |
What is the best approach to do that?
I have the related bare picture as well.
Many thanks.

You can use Synoptic Panel by OKVIZ visual https://okviz.com/synoptic-panel/ together with Synoptic Designer https://synoptic.design/
Make sure you have a table with body part names (or numerical ids) and corresponding values (e.g. number of injuries). Then load your image into Synoptic Designer, add all areas (body parts), save the image as a .svg file. Insert Synoptic Panel visual into a report, add fields to Category (body part name/id) and Measure (corresponding value) fields. Then you'll be able import your .csv file into the visual. Or you can select an existing body parts image from the gallery (you can do it in the visual, without using the Designer).
